Senior people who do the work.

antedote is a strategic research and innovation consultancy for consumer and technology brands, working globally from New York and London. Every member of our team works at Partner or Director level and has at least 12 years of experience. The people you meet design your project, stay close to the fieldwork and read the evidence themselves.

See the work

Research, strategy and innovation, in one team.

Researchers, strategists, data scientists, statisticians and designers work on your question together, so what the evidence says and what it means for your plan come from the same people.

A client team’s thank-you note, in full

Good company, in their words.

On behalf of the [brand] team, I wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you for everything you’ve brought to [the project]. We’ve really valued having you as partners and sounding boards throughout, people we could think things through with, challenge ideas alongside, and turn to for an honest perspective. Your thoughtfulness and brilliance have made the work stronger, and your warmth has made the process a pleasure. Thank you, too, for your patience and for taking the time to understand our needs as we worked through the project. We know that we have asked a lot of you at times, and we’ve really appreciated the care you’ve shown. We’re especially grateful that you’ve continued to give us your time and support beyond the formal completion of the project. That generosity hasn’t gone unnoticed. You’re simply brilliant people to work with, and we’re very glad we’ve had the chance to do this together.

What happens after you get in touch.

  1. A first call about your question.

A short conversation about whether we can help. Tell us your deadline and budget, and we’ll say plainly what fits, or that research wouldn’t change your plan.

  2. An outline, quoted for its scope.

How we would approach your question, planned back from your deadline. The cost depends on the number of markets, the people you need to reach and how many stages the work needs.

  3. A team sized to the work.

A partner or director leads your engagement. How many of us work on your project depends on its size, with local moderators and analysts where the fieldwork needs them.

  4. Your team takes part.

Your colleagues can join workshops, meet participants and shape ideas in working sessions, so the people who will use the work see how it was done.

Adam French

Founding Partner

Adam has spent more than 25 years on the question between research and strategy: what should we build, and why will it win. He has led insight and innovation programs for many of the world’s biggest consumer brands, some spanning 20 markets at a time, helping teams turn evidence into launches, repositionings and product decisions.

Anne Lacey

Founding Partner

Anne is an Insight250 Legend, the program’s highest honor, for shaping the profession over a career. She has spent 30 years in qualitative practice, from luxury houses to global consumer goods, moderating and overseeing fieldwork worldwide, and is drawn to the problems teams haven’t yet been able to solve.

Riki Neill

Riki has spent fifteen years across qualitative research, innovation and analytics, with a background in design thinking, youth research, trends, ideation and workshops.
