Developing everyday ideas for a dairy brand
A dairy brand preparing its next launches wanted ideas for more everyday moments, ready for quantitative testing. We brought consumers into the company’s ideation workshop, then sharpened the concepts with them over two rounds online.

- Ideation with consumers and two rounds of online concept development
The question
The brand was preparing its next launches and needed a pipeline of ideas strong enough to test. Its ambition was to be part of more everyday moments.
Consumer input would matter most early, while the ideas could still change.
Our approach
We put consumers where their ideas were most useful. Creative consumers joined the company’s ideation workshop for the morning, when fresh thinking was needed most, and the team developed the ideas from there.
In place of focus groups, two rounds of online concept work let us improve each idea between rounds, which took the concepts further within the same budget.
The work was divided clearly: the company’s team wrote the concepts after the workshop, and we led their development with consumers.
What the team came away with
A set of cheese and butter concepts, each sharpened over two rounds and recommended for quantitative testing.
An interim working session took the team through the first round, so the second could build on it.
Who we heard from
Creative consumers in the company’s workshop, and cheese and butter buyers over two online rounds
